Jack and his Royal Rifles platoon, inexperienced and vastly outnumbered, fight to defend Hong Kong against the invading Japanese army. Through selling, gunfire and hand-to-hand combat, they risk their lives in an attempt to take the ground, but are forced back time and again by fierce enemy troops.
